All of these lovely photos were taken at public lands and state parks. We absolutely love our national parks but, they can get very crowded. State parks and public lands, often adjacent to national parks, are equally as beautiful and much less crowded. Be sure to plan some time visiting these special places on your next national park trip. We like to hit the national parks early in the morning and head to state parks or public lands after lunch.
