Disney Cruise Line’s three newest ships — the Wish, Treasure, and Destiny — are true sister ships. They share the same layout, but Disney Imagineering made sure each ship feels completely unique. Even in spaces that appear identical on a deck plan, you’ll find thoughtful twists in lighting, color, story, and design that give each vessel its own personality.
With the Destiny’s inaugural sailing later this month, I’m kicking off a new comparison series: Sister Ship Spotlight. Each installment will highlight a particular space across all three ships and show how Imagineering “remixed” the storytelling while keeping the structure the same.
🌹 Our first feature: The Rose entrance
At the gateway to the upscale adults-only dining venues — Enchanté and Palo Steakhouse — you’ll find one of the most elegant lounges on any Disney ship: The Rose. Inspired by Beauty and the Beast, it’s a quiet, romantic spot with sweeping ocean views and a stunning glass-encased Rose sculpture on each ship.
The fun part? Each ship’s Rose is different.
The Wish, Treasure, and Destiny all feature their own interpretation, with unique colors, curves, and lighting effects. It’s one of the best examples of how the Imagineers took a consistent space and infused brand-new artistry into each ship.

✨ Pro Tips for Visiting The Rose
• You do not need a reservation at Palo or Enchanté to enjoy this lounge. It’s open to everyone 18+ and is one of the most peaceful places to enjoy a pre-dinner drink.
• Order from the Sommelier’s Bin — it’s one of the best-kept secrets on Disney Cruise Line. You’ll get a high-quality glass of wine or bubbles at an excellent price, and the selection rotates based on what’s available.
• It’s also a gorgeous spot during sunset if you want a quiet escape from the bustle of the ship.
Stay tuned — throughout the series, we’ll explore lounges, stateroom corridors, atriums, and hidden gems across Disney Cruise Line’s newest trio of sister ships.
